Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors: Join us at Camp Little Cloud for a two day outdoor adventure! Embark on an exciting adventure filled with outdoor fun while you earn your Math in Nature 3 badge!
Daisies will:
- Participate in a nature scavenger hunt
- Sort and create shapes with twigs and paint using twigs
- Trace your shadow
- Use leaves to sort and measure
- Birdwatch
- Identify animal tracks
- Make a map of camp
Brownies will:
- Participate in a nature scavenger hunt
- Create a bar graph
- Create a spider web
- Birdwatch
- Create a nature calendar showing seasonal changes
- Measure leaves
- Plan and plot a flower garden
- Count tree rings
- Create a bee hotel
- Make a bird feeder to take home
- Birdwatch
- Identify animal tracks
- Make a map of camp
Juniors will:
- Make a sundial
- Learn about and make a barometer
- Measure tree circumference
- Participate in a shadow scavenger hunt
- Calculate perimiter and area of leaves
- Choose a trail and calculate elevation changes
- Partner and butterfly symmetry
- Tree cookie painting
- Fibonacci pattern/coloring
All levels:
- Earn and take home your Math in Nature 3 badge
- Day camp is 9 am-4 pm each day
